InfoDay on EUs Erasmus+ Programme opportunities in education (24.09.2025, Chernivtsi)
On September 24, 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team held an Information Day of the EU Erasmus+ Programme for representatives of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (CHNU). The event reached over 65 CHNU staff members with the aim of boosting the academic community’s participation in Programme calls and strategically planning international cooperation in education.
The Information Day was led by Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Senior Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine. In her presentations, she emphasized the role of the Erasmus+ Programme as a strategic tool for Ukraine’s European integration. She highlighted the importance of developing and implementing projects focused on sustainable institutional growth and qualitative changes in education, while also sharing practical recommendations for effective participation in the Programme’s competitive calls. During the event, a comprehensive overview of the EU Erasmus+ Programme was provided, covering its architecture and opportunities for institutional capacity building, academic mobility, cross-sectoral cooperation, innovative teaching, participation in European University Alliances, Jean Monnet actions, and more.
Particular focus was placed on the current priorities of the Programme: digital and green transformation, inclusion, civil society development, and sustainable development, as well as the specific conditions for Ukraine’s participation during martial law.
